HAVEN / ๐˜ชแŽฏ๐˜œ๐‘‚“๐‘‚ฒ

"Haven," as its name suggests, is an illustration that seeks to capture, through a visual metaphor, the challenges foreigners face as they try to find refuge far from their place of origin. The piece depicts two mysterious figures, a mother and her son, arriving at a space that, though clearly abandoned, conveys a palpable sense of serenity and safety, an oasis in stark contrast to the powerful storm closing in on their location. The trail of flowers they leave behind serves as both an analogy and a tribute to all foreigners, regardless of their legal status, and their boundless ability to transform their surroundings and create a better place. Dedicated to my sister Mรณnica and her son Anthony.
